The Trustees of the Public Library of Brookline invite you to a screening of this award-winning documentary. It is the story of one family's flight from the Nazis...the parents and their two young daughters struggle to survive in the forests of Eastern Europe. The highlight is a mother's single act of courage amidst the horror of World War II, laying the groundwork for a future of hope, determined renewal and lasting love.

Following the short film, family members Ruth Lazowski, Rabbi Philip Lazowski, as well as Brookline's own Toby Langerman and David Lazowski will participate in a panel discussion. There will be time for audience questions.
