Go Guerilla: A new way to do video at BATV

 Go Guerilla includes equipment that is suited for in the field or on the go. This package can be used by simply one individual or for multiple person productions. Included is an ipad mini, light, a tripod for both the ipad and light, microphone, microphone attachment, XLR cable, headphones, and a charger for the light battery. These are basic tools for video, audio and visual needs, making Go Guerilla a terrific segue into video production. Not only is Go Guerilla a technologically educational experience, but it is also a simple way to learn how to educate the community on civic issues, events, concerns, local art or awareness on other types of community matter that can be broadcasted on BATV. BATV group unites women through support group

The Boston chapter of Slim Peace, a nutrition and support group, recently made national news for their work of uniting women of Jewish and Muslim faith. Slim Peace is a member of BATV and uses the space to conduct their weekly meetings. BATV extends the use of its facilities for meetings to all Brookline non-profits and Brookline residents. BATV also rents the use of its facilities for private and commercial use. Find out more about BATV’s facilities on our website here: http://batv.org/about/facility. In a recent Today Show segment, Slim Peace gained national attention for its mission to promote “nutrition and healthy lifestyle and female empowerment program for all Jewish, Muslim, Arab and Christian women now the U.S.” Slim Peace began as a documentary film by Yael Luttwak about such a group for Israeli and Palestinian women.
